The PLAY Project

The PLAY Project: “My name is Rick Solomon. I’m the Medical Director of The PLAY Project at The Ann Arbor Center for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. Over the last 15 years I’ve followed hundreds of children with autism and what I’ve learned is that parents of young children with autism (ages 18 months to 6 years old) want and need four things:

* Early and accurate diagnosis (18 months – 3 years),
* Easy to use and reliable information about autistic spectrum disorders,
* Effective, low cost interventions that are empowering to families and
* A community that supports parents including local resources that are truly helpful

This website is designed to address these wants and needs.”
